You may notice that the colors in your photographs don't always turn out the same as they were when you snapped them, or even compared to the way they look on your camera's LCD.  This may very well be because your monitor is calibrated to a different color setting than that of your camera.  Color space profiles that you have have seen are sRGB, adobe RGB, and other variations.
