VPC-E7
VPC-S7
E7
S7

At first glance you'd think that they are actually the same camera, and Sanyo got all confused themselves and released it with different names. Their similarities in design also transcend to the kind of features that they have. Both only have minor differences, that would be dependent on the buyer to deem them important or not.

The E7 offers a red-eye correction function while the S7 doesn't. It is also lighter than than the S7 by 34 grams, coming in at 132 grams compared to the 166 grams of the S7 with the battery. Aside from those very minute discrepancy, the two cameras offer a 7.1 Megapixel CCD, 3x Optical Zoom, 2.5 inch LCD monitor, VGA-Size (640x480) video clips and compatible with a 4GB SDHC Memory card.

If you're considering buying one of these cameras, think about the features you're looking for or what you're going to use it for. It might be better to have them side by side for better comparison. Both cameras will drop on September and is rumored to be priced at roughly around $353 USD.

Sanyo Xacti C6Would you like it better if I told you it's also the thinnest camera? Because it is. And it might also be the lightest. The Sanyo Xacti C6 is the newest addition to the Xacti series. It has a high 6-megapixel sensor and 30fps MPEG4 video capabilities which make it even more attracting. Its 2-inch LCD screen and 5x optical zoom lens allow the user to clearly view its subject.

The Sanyo Xacti C60's vertical gun style handgrip which follows the rest of its predecessors allows the camera to perform its moving and still camera functions. Sanyo is set to release the C6 by the end of this month.

Who in their right mind wouldn't want to have this beauty? I mean, come on, the Sanyo VPC HD1 High Definition Digital Camera fits snuggly in the palm of your hand. It feels like a toy when you first hold it, like one of those mobile phones that pretend to record videos (with only 1mp to boast of!). But you'll take it seriously once you experience the features: 10x optical zoom lens, 2.2-inch OLED screen, 5.36-megapixel sensor, built-in image stabilization, super fast 9Mbs Frame Rate - and the list goes on. No wonder a lot of people have been placing orders for this digital media camera, even if the price tag on this is a little over $800.

Some would definitely consider the Sanyo VPC HD1 worth their money since this camera can take a snapshot while you're recording a video. It's actually very cool when you think about it (and not think about the $800+ you'll spend on it).

Weigh your options. The Sanyo VPC HD1 may be worth it.

The Sanyo Xacti S60 digital camera has the Touch Sensor Shutter Button which is probably one of the greatest features a 6-megapixel camera can have. Okay, I'm exaggerating. Another Sanyo digital camera (the Xacti E60) has the in-camera red-eye correction feature, but this is also worth your money.

The Xacti V60 is a good catch since it can record and play videos in QuickTime format. I mean, come on! Who wouldn't want to have this? You can even use two replaceable AA batteries to make it work!

You didn't have sore eyes that day, but your photo shows otherwise. The red eyes you always seem to have in all your photos won't be a problem anymore.

The Sanyo Xacti E60 which will be available come May 2006 will take care of your red-eyes problem with its in-camera red-eye correction. Although this is a compact digital camera, its 6-MP resolution and 3-inch LCD display are enough to impress both amature and professional photographers.

But this may cause you to have red eyes in your photos again, since it'll make you cry with its Touch sensor feature that would make the reaction of the Sanyo Xacti E60 0.05 seconds faster. It may even capture your tears falling. So don't cry.
